  4. baseballgrader says:

@dougieisbamf go to your local parts ;store and buy what they? have fiber cloth and resins

  5. baseballgrader says:

Go to your? local auto parts store and get what they have. Thats what I used

  6. dougieisbamf says:

@baseballgrader I don’t know if you’re still answering questions? but i thought i’d give it a shot. I’m building a model boat and I built a shell thats going to be used just for a mould. I used cardboard, then papermache then drywall puddy. Now what would be the best fiberglass and resin to use for this?

  7. leoleo12c says:

Plese can you send me the plan? for this? to? leo.leo1997@hotmail.com

  8. TheRoman300 says:

  9. jrwel14 says:

The full size boats. They alternate between the keel and the shear.? The Garboard strake and the shear strake. They finish torwards the middle. With the ,”shutter” Good video!

  10. zigastrmsek2 says:

i wuld rather use 2 or 3 sheets of bals 4? hull than add those strips for more watterproof.please could you send me plans to zigastrmsek1@gmail.com

  11. zigastrmsek2 says:

you shuld? use thinner ply wood for ribs if you want it to sail.it’s too hevy

  12. flugfahrrader says:

I particularly like the fine detailed pre-shipwrecked built-in features. My only suggestion for your fine handy work is to display it on an appropriate mount. Consider forgoing the traditional wood base with pillars and consider a nice rock instead. Place a placard at the base that reads, “When your draft is below the? keel, you most surely have run aground”.

  13. Belramous1 says:

Can i suggest you dont point? the nail gun at you privates.

  14. TheWoodman1948 says:

As an old boatbuilder (and Model? boatbuilder too) I would suggest that you build yourself a steam box. I used an old pressure cooker for many years to generate the steam for full sized boats as well as my models. Cheap to build and easy to use and it makes bending the planks MUCH, much easier. Also the time you take in fairing out your building bulkheads “before” you start planking the hull will pay off in time saved planking and fairing the hull. email me if you want to build one.

  15. schneedaze says:

Keep your shop cleaner that will make things easier for? you.

  16. n1ck3o7 says:

tried? steaming the bits of wood? or just soaking in hot water
makes them far softer and less likely to split / snap

  17. andytechnodude says:

ok here is my tip, first finish building it, then if you don’t like it get some gas, burn? it and start over.

  20. manning643 says:

I following your idea and have started a boat for my grandson. Im finding that as I work toward the bow the planking gets tighter. In your video I see the same? problem developing but the video does not quite get there. How did you overcome the problem? Also what type of epoxy wood filler did you use? Thanks for sharing.

  21. dnomyarnostaw says:

Youve got a problem at mould D (4th from the front) there? is a pronounced hollow developing.

  22. baseballgrader says:

I gave this boat to a guy in wrightsville beach He finished it with rc motors and? lights

  23. keegan198 says:

nice, I’m planning to do something similar, a fishing boat that is made locally in the Caribbean called a pirogue,? bowen being the specific manufacturer, and i wana actually put some engines on mine and make it RC. what type of wood did you use for the different parts like the stringers and the shell?

  24. brittanyyXballer says:

    glue? dumb ass fuck

  25. cathalkl says:

if you make your strips wet they will bend? more easily

  26. baseballgrader says:

are you stupid or? something. the words are not put there to make sense there there for search engines Daaaaa

  27. MRPEQUOD says:

The boat looks a lot better than the English grammar used in these posts? !

  28. sizenevermatters says:

:) Thanks for the name…Also, i forgot to mention, try DelftShip software for? developing new models…Just google it…Relevantly, you may consider going for hard chine boats, which are relatively easier to built…And but using bigger number of chines you can built quiet smooth hulls…BTW, size sometimes matters :)
